Overview
	During Cruise’s first commercial launch in 2021, I led key brand and product initiatives that helped define the company’s public-facing experience—from digital interfaces to marketing touchpoints.

Approach
	I designed 300+ real-time Lottie animations and illustrations for the mobile app and in-car UI, and led the redesign of cruise.com. I also art directed launch videos including Cruise: How to Ride and the Cruise Origin demo. My north star as the conduit between product and marketing was to translates complex tech into clear, approachable narratives.

	Authenticity as northstar&#38;nbsp;
	 In collaboration with the Creative Director, I played a pivotal role in reshaping Chegg's brand to be more authentic and better suited for today’s students.The foundation for refreshing Chegg, a leading education software platform serving millions of students, came from recognizing the need for a shift towards grounded and elevated visuals that authentically capture the passion of real-world students.

	A branded search bar helps guide students when they land on main pages, providing a consistent and trusted point of assistance

	Design System
	To flex the core brand across digital spaces, a design system was needed. Chegg’s design system is based on a generous use of whitespace, clear typography, warm illustrations, and selective use of color that allows the UI to feel organized and inviting.&#38;nbsp;

	 Illustrations
	To balance out using brand photography and icons in the Chegg app, I developed an approachable branded illustration style.
The style ensures a grounded sense of realness by giving the character’s clothing and surroundings a relateable simplifed nature.

	Overview
	Google Cloud Next is the brand’s flagship user conference. I was brought in to lead visual direction on all speaker presentation materials—designing a scalable visual system and directing motion across the event.

	Approach
	Leading a team of 3 designers and 2 animators, I built a modular framework based on the event’s geometric logo. This system housed animation, illustration, and photography cohesively across hundreds of presenter slides.


I also storyboarded and directed branded animations used between sessions—moments of expression that formed Cloud product symbols or reinforced themes like data, security, or AI. Each piece balanced clarity with a bit of Google-y charm.

	The system elevated the quality and consistency of every talk. Animations added rhythm and personality without distraction. My team’s presentation, motion, and design systems became foundational templates for future Google Cloud events and internal storytelling.

	For pet parents with dogs that love to run and play in all types of outdoor conditions, Puppywash is an app-enabled, all-in-one bathing and drying machine. I collaborated with Study Hall to design a brand identity for Puppywash as they launched their first D2C hardware product.&#38;nbsp;

	I led the creative strategy and was handson with design to anchor a clear visual direction that balanced charm with playful rigor through the use of simple but universal shapes. Expressive typography and a vivid color palette add to the mix to evoke the warmth and satisfaction of feeling fresh.

	First Person, an SF-based agency,
approached me to establish the brand illustration system for
Omnicell, an autonomous
pharmacy.&#38;nbsp;
Omnicell’s
technology operates similar to blockchain, with all medications digitally tagged and
tracked, allowing physicians and pharmacists to better understand how their patients manage their medication.A unique pill shape found within the letterforms of the logo wordmark–the Superellipse–and a 1:1 modular grid informed my approach for the illustration system.&#38;nbsp;

	Overview
	During the 2016 election, CA Technologies helped CNN develop their CNN Politics app. To launch the co-creation we used the insight that while we may be divided we can all agree on our love of great apps.&#38;nbsp;

	
	Approach
	Working as ACD with my copywriter/partner Eric Roller, we crafted a script with two opposing characters who actually have more in common than they might believe. 
As part of a 360 campaign, we created a TV ad, on-site digital banners, press ads, and print ads. 
Our TV ad spot was also chosen as one of AdForum's Best Political Ads of 2016.&#38;nbsp;
We also partnered together on art directing and editing the CNN Politics Customer Story. This co-creation story showcased how CNN’s digital innovation team used CA’s software suite to speed up their app development and scale during the 2016 election.&#38;nbsp;

	For the printed “Frontiers” edition of WIRED magazine, guest-edited by President Barack Obama, we cast an all-American electorate and placed them on a patriotic bandstand in the middle of a cornfield. 
I oversaw the concepting, casting, and on-set photography. We used an empty lot next to the studio as our location, with additional screens of blue for post-production. After the photo shoot I worked side by side retouchers to optimize the image for it’s print debut.&#38;nbsp;
No corn was harmed during this process.

	Impact
	Our ad spot,“Democracy, Powered by Data” appeared in broadcast, social, digital banners and leveraged a number of CNN properties—resulting in a 50% increase in brand of choice, a 22% increase in purchase consideration, and a 16% uptick in brand favorability for CA Technologies.
